Washington/Islamabad (Monitoring Desk) Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with his American counterpart Marco Rubio. According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive developments in Pak-US bilateral relations and discussed the changing regional and global situation. The two sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade and investment, as well as strengthen bilateral cooperation on security and counter-terrorism. According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders also agreed to advance the Pak-US partnership. The US Secretary of State acknowledged Pakistan's diplomatic and conciliatory efforts for peace and stability in the region and beyond
